Digital Mobile Radio(DMR) is a open digital mobile radio standard with low complexity, low cost and interoperability across bands. It is a digital system used in commercial products around the world. DMR, along with P25 Phase II and NXDB are competing technologies which achieve 6.25 kHz equivalent bandwidth using proprietary AMBE+2 vocoder.
TalkPRO is a member of the DMR Association and the only radio manufacturer of DMR radios who provides all the features and facilities at no extra cost. Most of the suppliers including Motorola and Kenwood offer features like- Auto roaming, AES encryption, Multisite connectivity, dispatch software on per user license key basis. The user has to pay license fees for these features on per radio (per key) basis. TalkPRO has developed all these features in-house and offers them at no additional cost. Based on the user’s requirement, TalkPRO customised the hardware and software.
TalkPRO DMR hand held radios are feature rich & include AES 256 Encryption, High Capacity Battery (48 hours talk time), Torchlight, Auto Roaming, IP67 (water immersion upto 3 meters), OTAP through IP and a lot more. A loud 1 watt audio output is de-facto standard on all its handhelds (walkie talkies). It ensures loud and crystal clear communication in a noisy environment. Noise cancellation feature in handhelds is also a standard feature.
